- 11/17/2023: Nico successfully defended his PhD thesis! Congratulations!
- Lukas visited Botond Szabo at Bocconi University, Milan, from September 12 to 16, 2023.
- Tom and Lukas participated in the second meeting of the DFG research unit 5381 in Freiburg Germany, March 29-31, 2023.
- 01/25/2023: New preprint on "Efficiency in local differential privacy" on arXiv.
- Tom and Nico went to the 1st Workshop for young researchers of the Research Unit 5381 at the Erwin Schrödinger-Zentrum in Berlin on January 12 and 13, 2023.
- Lukas gave a guest lecture on "Statistics of Differential Privacy" at CREST/ENSAE, November 7-17, 2022.
- Nico, Tom and Lukas went to the first meeting of the DFG research unit 5381 in Rostock, Germany, September 22-24, 2022.
- Lukas spent one week at the MFO Oberwolfach together with Cristina Butucea and Angelika Rohde as part of the Research in Pairs programm in February 20-26, 2022.
- Thomas Stark was hired as PhD student on the FWF Project I 5484-N `Classification -- Preprocessed and high-dimensional data' in October 2021.
- FWF Project I 5484-N `Classification -- Preprocessed and high-dimensional data' as part of DFG research unit 'Mathematical Statistics in the information age' was successfully funded in July 2021.
